While working football one hot September day (yes, most of my stupid athlete stories come from football - is that saying something???) I was standing with the offensive linemen and heard one of the most random comments. I kind of snuck up on them, they didn't realize I was standing there watching practice. One lineman says to another "A bead of sweat just rolled down my scrotum."
My reaction "Ugh! You are disgusting!" and I walked away.
The football player said "Oh my God, Kristin, I didn't know you were standing there. I'm so sorry!"
Now this football player was a very nice guy, not your typical jerk athlete. He really did feel bad. The other athlete told me that at least he was poetic about his sweating problem. Yes, thank you for your eloquent words Ace.
